Travel - how to get to Rotterdam and to AHOY (WHS 2024 venue)

The main international airport in the Netherlands is Schiphol, near Amsterdam. There are daily direct flights from many international airports in Canada. From Schiphol airport there are regular direct trains to Rotterdam central station (1 hr, $25 per person, depart every 15 to 20 minutes). It is also possible to get a taxi from the airport to Rotterdam (1 hr, $200 per taxi).

Rotterdam has excellent citywide public transportation. The easiest way to get to AHOY hallen is by metro lines D and E. The closest stop is "Zuidplein". From there it's a 7 minute walk to AHOY.
